Fox Hill Farms has a staff of talented, experienced trainers who teach all levels and ages. Our aim is to help you have fun while you pursue your goals, whether those are trail riding or advanced showing on the "A" circuit.
Jane Grenci heads our show program, teaching people to compete in the hunter, equitation and jumper rings. She has been training horses and riders at the national level for more than 30 years. Jane has competed successfully at local and national levels, on her horses as well as on customers' horses.
Barbara Cochrane has been teaching here for 40 years. A skilled rider, horse trainer and instructor, Barb has great insight into how to help students of all levels become effective, confident riders, whether they're on school, lease or private horses.
Lonnie Lum Curran has a long history of training and showing. At Fox Hill, she teaches students of all levels, and enjoys taking her students to horse shows. Prior to joining the Fox Hill family, Lonnie owned her own show and lesson barn for 20 years.
Mary Jane Mitchell has been teaching in the Westchester area for over 40 years, and has been with Fox Hill for more than 15 years. She is a USEF licensed judge in both Hunters and Hunter Seat Equitation. MJ is also the National President of the Professional Horsemen's Association.
Amy Warnock learned how to ride at Fox Hill and enjoyed a successful show career as one of our junior riders. Still a "Fox Hill girl," she's been teaching here for several years and is a popular instructor of both children and adults.
We also have several part-time instructors who give private and small group lessons to children and adults who are just beginning to ride or who are returning to the sport after a long hiatus.
